Could you show me on the map?
My booking number is…
Could you check that for me, please?
Could you take me to this address?
I have a reservation under…
Could we confirm the exact time and date?
What happens if that changes?
Thanks — that was the part I wasn’t sure about.
Would you mind saying that one more time?
I’d rather check now than make a mistake later.
Diálogo realista
Traveler: Hi there. I need some help with this situation and I have the main information with me.
Agent: Certainly. What information do you already have?
Traveler: Just to confirm, we’re talking about pedir direcciones.
Agent: Right. Let’s start with the departure, because that usually determines the next step.
Traveler: I have that. I’m less certain about the stop.
Agent: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the stop comes before the address.
Traveler: That makes sense. Can I confirm exactly what happens next?
Agent: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the traffic and you’ll receive confirmation.
Traveler: What are my options?
Agent: The only thing to watch is the fare, because that can affect the timing.
Traveler: Okay. I brought the boarding pass too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Agent: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Traveler: I’m here because I need help with pedir direcciones.
Agent: No problem. I’ll explain the arrival in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Traveler: Perfect. I’m trying to focus on the key information instead of translating every word.
Agent: Right. In a real conversation, catching the map and the next action is usually enough.
Traveler: Could you show me on the map?
Agent: If anything changes, contact us and mention the delay. That will help us find your details quickly.
Traveler: Okay, I’ll do that. And the connection stays the same, correct?
Agent: That’s correct. The connection stays exactly as discussed.
Traveler: Excellent. I’ll follow those steps and get back in touch if anything changes.
Agent: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the departure.
✓ Could you tell me about the departure, please?
