Diálogo realista
Sam: Hi. I’m not completely sure what the next step is, so I wanted to check with you.
Taylor: Sure. What would you like to check first?
Sam: I’m calling about…
Taylor: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the date.
Sam: Okay. Could you explain how the schedule works here?
Taylor: Yes. We normally confirm the schedule and then update the favour.
Sam: Let me repeat that back to make sure I understood you correctly.
Taylor: Correct. The routine is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Sam: Does that work for you?
Taylor: That’s a good question. If the evening changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Sam: Got it. I also have the time with me in case you need it.
Taylor: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
Sam: Let me check and get back to you.
Taylor: Absolutely. Let’s go through the package slowly so you know exactly what it means.
Sam: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Taylor: That’s a good approach. Listen for the permission, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Sam: Could you say that again, please?
Taylor: If you need to follow up, refer to the household so the next person can see the history.
Sam: Okay, I’ll do that. And the calendar stays the same, correct?
Taylor: Yes, the calendar is unchanged. You’re all set.
Sam: Could you also show me where the availability appears? I want to recognise it next time.
Taylor: Of course. You’ll usually hear “availability” together with a date, number or next action. If you miss it, ask the person to repeat that specific part.
Sam: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Taylor: You’re welcome. I’m glad we could sort it out.
