Diálogo realista
Alex: Hi, I was hoping you could help me with something.
Jordan: Absolutely. Give me the key details and I’ll see what we can do.
Alex: Just to confirm, we’re talking about hablar de precios.
Jordan: Right. Let’s start with the pricing, because that usually determines the next step.
Alex: I have that. I’m less certain about the action item.
Jordan: Yes. We normally confirm the action item and then update the offer.
Alex: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Jordan: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the presentation and you’ll receive confirmation.
Alex: Is there flexibility in the offer?
Jordan: It depends on the expectation. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Alex: Got it. I also have the client with me in case you need it.
Jordan: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Alex: Could you share the budgeted range?
Jordan: No problem. I’ll explain the budget in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Alex: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Jordan: That’s a good approach. Listen for the tax, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Alex: I’ll follow up by email.
Jordan: If you need to follow up, refer to the cash so the next person can see the history.
Alex: Before I go, can I confirm the objective as well?
Jordan: Yes, the objective is unchanged. You’re all set.
Alex: That’s much clearer now. I appreciate your time.
Jordan: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the pricing.
✓ Could you tell me about the pricing, please?
