Could you recommend something similar?

That works for me. What should I do next?
Would you mind saying that one more time?
Could we confirm the exact time and date?

Diálogo realista
Customer: Hi. I’m not completely sure what the next step is, so I wanted to check with you.
Assistant: No problem. Let’s start with the most important point.
Customer: Can I pay by card?
Assistant: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the size.
Customer: I have that. I’m less certain about the refund.
Assistant: Sure. In this case, the refund depends on the cash.
Customer: Let me repeat that back to make sure I understood you correctly.
Assistant: Yes, that’s right. Once the exchange is confirmed, there shouldn’t be any other action for you today.
Customer: Is there another option?
Assistant: That’s a good question. If the product changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Customer: That helps. Should I keep the discount available for the next step?
Assistant: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Customer: How much is it?
Assistant: Sure. The fit is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Customer: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Assistant: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the recommendation and any instruction that follows it.
Customer: Do you have this in a different size?
Assistant: For a follow-up, keep the delivery somewhere easy to find.
Customer: Okay, I’ll do that. And the receipt stays the same, correct?
Assistant: That’s correct. The receipt stays exactly as discussed.
Customer: Before we finish, could you give me one example using “price” so I know I understood it?
Assistant: Of course. You’ll usually hear “price” together with a date, number or next action. If you miss it, ask the person to repeat that specific part.
Customer: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Assistant: No problem at all. Take care.
“Just to confirm…” y “So, if I understood correctly…” son recursos normales en inglés profesional y cotidiano.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the size.
✓ Could you tell me about the size, please?
Agregar could y please hace que un pedido de información suene mucho más natural.
