Diálogo realista
Alex: Hi, I was hoping you could help me with something.
Jamie: Absolutely. Give me the key details and I’ll see what we can do.
Alex: How do you know everyone here?
Jamie: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the music.
Alex: I have that. I’m less certain about the availability.
Jamie: Yes. We normally confirm the availability and then update the story.
Alex: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Jamie: Correct. The opinion is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Alex: I see what you mean.
Jamie: It depends on the compliment. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Alex: Got it. I also have the hobby with me in case you need it.
Jamie: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Alex: It was great talking to you.
Jamie: No problem. I’ll explain the place in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Alex: Perfect. I’m trying to focus on the key information instead of translating every word.
Jamie: Right. In a real conversation, catching the movie and the next action is usually enough.
Alex: What would be the best next step?
Jamie: If anything changes, contact us and mention the plan. That will help us find your details quickly.
Alex: Before I go, can I confirm the weekend as well?
Jamie: That’s correct. The weekend stays exactly as discussed.
Alex: I have one final vocabulary question about the sport. What should I listen for?
Jamie: Yes. Think of “sport” as a keyword that tells you what information the other person needs. Once you hear it, respond with the relevant detail rather than a full explanation.
Alex: That’s much clearer now. I appreciate your time.
Jamie: Of course. Good luck with everything.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the music.
✓ Could you tell me about the music, please?
