I want to make sure I understood correctly.
Let me give you a quick update.
That works for me.
Could we revisit that point?
The experience that is most relevant here is…
In my previous role, I was responsible for…

I’d rather check now than make a mistake later.
Who should I contact if I have another question?
That works for me. What should I do next?
Thanks — that was the part I wasn’t sure about.
Diálogo realista
Alex: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Morgan: No problem. Let’s start with the most important point.
Alex: Would it be possible to…?
Morgan: Right. Let’s start with the schedule, because that usually determines the next step.
Alex: I have that. I’m less certain about the experience.
Morgan: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the experience comes before the industry.
Alex: Could I check one thing? I don’t want to misunderstand the timing.
Morgan: Yes, that’s right. Once the skill is confirmed, there shouldn’t be any other action for you today.
Alex: My next professional goal is…
Morgan: That’s a good question. If the priority changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Alex: Got it. I also have the project with me in case you need it.
Morgan: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
Alex: I want to make sure I understood correctly.
Morgan: Sure. The task is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Alex: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Morgan: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the role and any instruction that follows it.
Alex: Let me give you a quick update.
Morgan: If anything changes, contact us and mention the availability. That will help us find your details quickly.
Alex: Okay, I’ll do that. And the career path stays the same, correct?
Morgan: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Alex: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Morgan: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
✕ Tell me the schedule.
✓ Could you tell me about the schedule, please?
