Diálogo realista
Alex: Hi, I was hoping you could help me with something.
Morgan: Sure. What would you like to check first?
Alex: I’m here because I need help with hablar de tu experiencia laboral.
Morgan: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the skill.
Alex: Okay. Could you explain how the achievement works here?
Morgan: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the achievement comes before the career path.
Alex: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Morgan: Correct. The task is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Alex: My next professional goal is…
Morgan: It depends on the project. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Alex: Okay. I brought the team too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Morgan: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Alex: Could we go over the details for hablar de tu experiencia laboral?
Morgan: No problem. I’ll explain the goal in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Alex: Perfect. I’m trying to focus on the key information instead of translating every word.
Morgan: Right. In a real conversation, catching the salary and the next action is usually enough.
Alex: I want to make sure I understood correctly.
Morgan: If you need to follow up, refer to the experience so the next person can see the history.
Alex: Okay, I’ll do that. And the industry stays the same, correct?
Morgan: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Alex: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Morgan: Of course. Good luck with everything.
“Just to confirm…” y “So, if I understood correctly…” son recursos normales en inglés profesional y cotidiano.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the skill.
✓ Could you tell me about the skill, please?
Agregar could y please hace que un pedido de información suene mucho más natural.
