Diálogo realista
Traveler: Hello. I’d like to go over a few details, if that’s okay.
Agent: No problem. Let’s start with the most important point.
Traveler: I’d like to check in for my flight.
Agent: Right. Let’s start with the boarding time, because that usually determines the next step.
Traveler: Okay. Could you explain how the carry-on works here?
Agent: Sure. In this case, the carry-on depends on the reservation.
Traveler: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Agent: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the flight and you’ll receive confirmation.
Traveler: Just to confirm, we’re talking about check-in en el aeropuerto.
Agent: The only thing to watch is the passport, because that can affect the timing.
Traveler: That helps. Should I keep the departure available for the next step?
Agent: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Traveler: I have a reservation under…
Agent: Absolutely. Let’s go through the check-in desk slowly so you know exactly what it means.
Traveler: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Agent: That’s a good approach. Listen for the arrival, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Traveler: Could you tell me where I need to go?
Agent: If you need to follow up, refer to the platform so the next person can see the history.
Traveler: Before I go, can I confirm the booking as well?
Agent: Yes, the booking is unchanged. You’re all set.
Traveler: Great, I know what I need to do now. Thanks for your help.
Agent: Of course. Good luck with everything.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
✕ Tell me the boarding time.
✓ Could you tell me about the boarding time, please?
