Diálogo realista
Traveler: Hi. I’m not completely sure what the next step is, so I wanted to check with you.
Agent: Sure. What would you like to check first?
Traveler: Could we go over the details for pasar aduana?
Agent: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the return ticket.
Traveler: That part is clear. My question is really about the counter.
Agent: Sure. In this case, the counter depends on the length of stay.
Traveler: That makes sense. Can I confirm exactly what happens next?
Agent: Correct. The boarding pass is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Traveler: I’ll be staying for ten days.
Agent: That’s a good question. If the departure changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Traveler: Got it. I also have the gate with me in case you need it.
Agent: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Traveler: I have a reservation under…
Agent: No problem. I’ll explain the arrival in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Traveler: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Agent: That’s a good approach. Listen for the platform, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Traveler: What time does it leave?
Agent: If anything changes, contact us and mention the luggage. That will help us find your details quickly.
Traveler: Okay, I’ll do that. And the baggage stays the same, correct?
Agent: That’s correct. The baggage stays exactly as discussed.
Traveler: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Agent: Of course. Good luck with everything.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ I need you to explain it.
✕ Tell me the return ticket.
✓ Could you tell me about the return ticket, please?
