Comprar un boleto en inglés

Cuando necesitás comprar un boleto, la fluidez importa menos que tener recursos claros para empezar, responder y cerrar el intercambio. Acá vas a entrenar justamente esas tres partes.

Qué vas a aprender

Cómo suena en inglés natural

Escuchá la función, no cada palabra

En una conversación sobre comprar un boleto, identificá primero si la otra persona está pidiendo un dato, confirmando algo o indicando un próximo paso. Esa función te ayuda a responder incluso si no entendiste una palabra secundaria.

Confirmar es parte de una conversación natural

Si una respuesta contiene mucha información, repetí solo el dato importante con una pregunta corta. Eso mantiene el intercambio ágil y claro.

Usá bloques de lenguaje reutilizables

No memorices el diálogo completo. Elegí dos frases del bloque anterior y combinalas con vocabulario como “station”, “map” o “gate”. Así podés adaptarte si la conversación cambia.

Errores comunes de hispanohablantes

✕ I have a doubt about this.

✓ I have a question about this.

“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.

✕ Can you repeat me that?

✓ Could you repeat that, please?

Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.

✕ I want that you check it.

✓ I’d like you to check it.

Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.

✕ Tell me the station.

✓ Could you tell me about the station, please?

Agregar could y please hace que un pedido de información suene mucho más natural.

Preguntas frecuentes

¿Qué frases conviene aprender primero para comprar un boleto?
