Hi! I’m Eugenia, an English Language Teacher, Business English Trainer and Language Coach with more than 10 years of experience helping adults develop their English and communicate with greater confidence.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with adult learners from different professional and cultural backgrounds, both in one-to-one and group settings. My experience includes Business English, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), General English, international exam preparation and project-based learning. I particularly enjoy helping professionals move beyond simply “knowing English” and start using it as a practical tool for their careers, professional relationships and everyday communication.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to Business English. Every professional has different responsibilities, challenges, interests and reasons for learning English, so I like to understand what you need English for and where you want to go.

I design my lessons around your objectives, level, interests and professional context. This means that we can focus on situations and skills that are genuinely relevant to your life instead of spending time studying language that you may never actually use.

My background in instructional design and material creation allows me to create and adapt learning activities and resources according to each learner’s needs. I enjoy bringing authentic situations, practical tasks, problem-solving activities, role-plays, simulations, discussions, case studies and real-world communication into the classroom.

My background in educational coaching, facilitation and neuroscience has also shaped the way I teach. I understand that becoming a better English speaker is not only about grammar and vocabulary. It’s also about confidence, motivation, practice and having a supportive environment where you feel comfortable trying, making mistakes and improving.

This is especially important when working with adults. You already have professional knowledge, experience and ideas to share — my role is to help you communicate them effectively in English.

I want you to feel that your English classes are a space where you can experiment with the language, ask questions, challenge yourself and gradually become a more confident and independent communicator.

*What can you expect from my classes?*

You can expect lessons that are dynamic, practical, personalised and focused on communication. I like to keep students actively involved rather than simply listening to explanations. We may work with realistic workplace scenarios, role-plays, discussions, presentations, problem-solving activities, authentic materials and personalised speaking practice.

Of course, grammar and vocabulary are also part of the process — but we will always connect them to communication and to situations where you can actually use them.

My goal is for you to finish each lesson thinking: “I can actually use this.”
