Diálogo realista
Alex: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Jordan: Absolutely. Give me the key details and I’ll see what we can do.
Alex: Let’s start with the main objective.
Jordan: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the scope.
Alex: I have that. I’m less certain about the proposal.
Jordan: Yes. We normally confirm the proposal and then update the value.
Alex: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Jordan: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the negotiation and you’ll receive confirmation.
Alex: Just to confirm, we’re talking about presentar una propuesta comercial.
Jordan: It depends on the client. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Alex: That helps. Should I keep the action item available for the next step?
Jordan: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Alex: What would success look like?
Jordan: No problem. I’ll explain the revenue in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Alex: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Jordan: Right. In a real conversation, catching the forecast and the next action is usually enough.
Alex: Could we agree on the next step?
Jordan: If you need to follow up, refer to the presentation so the next person can see the history.
Alex: Okay, I’ll do that. And the decision stays the same, correct?
Jordan: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Alex: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Jordan: You’re welcome. Have a good day.

Errores comunes de hispanohablantes
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the scope.
✓ Could you tell me about the scope, please?
