Diálogo realista
Customer: Hi there. I need some help with this situation and I have the main information with me.
Assistant: Absolutely. Give me the key details and I’ll see what we can do.
Customer: Do you have this in a different size?
Assistant: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the price.
Customer: That part is clear. My question is really about the receipt.
Assistant: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the receipt comes before the cash.
Customer: Could I check one thing? I don’t want to misunderstand the timing.
Assistant: Correct. The order is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Customer: When will it be delivered?
Assistant: The only thing to watch is the discount, because that can affect the timing.
Customer: That helps. Should I keep the refund available for the next step?
Assistant: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Customer: Could you recommend something similar?
Assistant: Sure. The card is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Customer: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Assistant: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the size and any instruction that follows it.
Customer: Just to confirm, we’re talking about comparar productos.
Assistant: If you need to follow up, refer to the stock so the next person can see the history.
Customer: One last check: there’s no change to the exchange, right?
Assistant: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Customer: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Assistant: Of course. Good luck with everything.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
✕ Tell me the price.
✓ Could you tell me about the price, please?
