Diálogo realista
Customer: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Assistant: Of course. Tell me what’s happening and we’ll take it from there.
Customer: Do you have this in a different size?
Assistant: Right. Let’s start with the discount, because that usually determines the next step.
Customer: That part is clear. My question is really about the purchase.
Assistant: Sure. In this case, the purchase depends on the delivery.
Customer: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Assistant: Correct. The order is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Customer: When will it be delivered?
Assistant: It depends on the exchange. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Customer: Got it. I also have the recommendation with me in case you need it.
Assistant: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
Customer: Can I pay by card?
Assistant: Absolutely. Let’s go through the cash slowly so you know exactly what it means.
Customer: Perfect. I’m trying to focus on the key information instead of translating every word.
Assistant: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the replacement and any instruction that follows it.
Customer: I’d like to return this.
Assistant: If you need to follow up, refer to the warranty so the next person can see the history.
Customer: One last check: there’s no change to the card, right?
Assistant: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Customer: Before we finish, could you give me one example using “policy” so I know I understood it?
Assistant: Of course. You’ll usually hear “policy” together with a date, number or next action. If you miss it, ask the person to repeat that specific part.
Customer: That’s much clearer now. I appreciate your time.
Assistant: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
✕ Tell me the discount.
✓ Could you tell me about the discount, please?
