Diálogo realista
Customer: Hello. I’d like to go over a few details, if that’s okay.
Assistant: Certainly. What information do you already have?
Customer: Can I try this on?
Assistant: Right. Let’s start with the pharmacy, because that usually determines the next step.
Customer: I have that. I’m less certain about the stock.
Assistant: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the stock comes before the side effect.
Customer: That makes sense. Can I confirm exactly what happens next?
Assistant: Correct. The instructions is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Customer: I’d like to return this.
Assistant: It depends on the dose. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Customer: Okay. I brought the colour too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Assistant: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Customer: I have a prescription for this.
Assistant: No problem. I’ll explain the product in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Customer: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Assistant: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the exchange and any instruction that follows it.
Customer: Is there another option?
Assistant: If you need to follow up, refer to the recommendation so the next person can see the history.
Customer: One last check: there’s no change to the delivery, right?
Assistant: Yes, the delivery is unchanged. You’re all set.
Customer: Could you also show me where the cash appears? I want to recognise it next time.
Assistant: Of course. You’ll usually hear “cash” together with a date, number or next action. If you miss it, ask the person to repeat that specific part.
Customer: That’s much clearer now. I appreciate your time.
Assistant: No problem at all. Take care.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
✕ Tell me the pharmacy.
✓ Could you tell me about the pharmacy, please?
