Diálogo realista
Customer: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Assistant: Sure. What would you like to check first?
Customer: I’m here because I need help with reclamar una compra.
Assistant: Thanks. I’ll check the receipt first and then we can deal with the rest.
Customer: Okay. Could you explain how the product works here?
Assistant: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the product comes before the stock.
Customer: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Assistant: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the fit and you’ll receive confirmation.
Customer: Can I pay by card?
Assistant: That’s a good question. If the exchange changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Customer: That helps. Should I keep the size available for the next step?
Assistant: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Customer: I’d like to return this.
Assistant: No problem. I’ll explain the card in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Customer: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Assistant: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the refund and any instruction that follows it.
Customer: Is there a discount on this item?
Assistant: If you need to follow up, refer to the colour so the next person can see the history.
Customer: Before I go, can I confirm the discount as well?
Assistant: Yes, the discount is unchanged. You’re all set.
Customer: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Assistant: Of course. Good luck with everything.
“Just to confirm…” y “So, if I understood correctly…” son recursos normales en inglés profesional y cotidiano. Sirven para reducir errores, no para demostrar inseguridad.

Errores comunes de hispanohablantes
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the receipt.
