Diálogo realista
Patient: Hello. I’d like to go over a few details, if that’s okay.
Staff member: Certainly. What information do you already have?
Patient: How often should I take it?
Staff member: Right. Let’s start with the network, because that usually determines the next step.
Patient: I have that. I’m less certain about the pain.
Staff member: Yes. We normally confirm the pain and then update the document.
Patient: That makes sense. Can I confirm exactly what happens next?
Staff member: Yes, that’s right. Once the test is confirmed, there shouldn’t be any other action for you today.
Patient: I’m here for a test.
Staff member: It depends on the clinic. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Patient: That helps. Should I keep the pharmacy available for the next step?
Staff member: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Patient: I need help explaining what happened.
Staff member: Sure. The policy is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Patient: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Staff member: That’s a good approach. Listen for the authorisation, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Patient: Could you write that down for me?
Staff member: If you need to follow up, refer to the appointment so the next person can see the history.
Patient: Okay, I’ll do that. And the emergency stays the same, correct?
Staff member: That’s correct. The emergency stays exactly as discussed.
Patient: Great, I know what I need to do now. Thanks for your help.
Staff member: You’re welcome. I’m glad we could sort it out.
Cómo suena en inglés natural

✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.

✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.

Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the network.
