Diálogo realista
Customer: Hello. I have a quick question before we get started.
Representative: Certainly. What information do you already have?
Customer: Thank you for looking into it.
Representative: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the support.
Customer: Okay. Could you explain how the repair works here?
Representative: Yes. We normally confirm the repair and then update the fee.
Customer: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Representative: Correct. The technician is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Customer: Could we go over the details for contratar telefonía móvil?
Representative: That’s a good question. If the address changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Customer: That helps. Should I keep the outage available for the next step?
Representative: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
Customer: I’d like to report a problem.
Representative: No problem. I’ll explain the service in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Customer: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Representative: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the request and any instruction that follows it.
Customer: Is there a reference number?
Representative: If you need to follow up, refer to the counter so the next person can see the history.
Customer: Okay, I’ll do that. And the bill stays the same, correct?
Representative: Yes, the bill is unchanged. You’re all set.
Customer: Could you also show me where the appointment appears? I want to recognise it next time.
Representative: Of course. You’ll usually hear “appointment” together with a date, number or next action. If you miss it, ask the person to repeat that specific part.
Customer: Excellent. I’ll follow those steps and get back in touch if anything changes.
Representative: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
“Just to confirm…” y “So, if I understood correctly…” son recursos normales en inglés profesional y cotidiano.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you explain it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the support.
✓ Could you tell me about the support, please?
Agregar could y please hace que un pedido de información suene mucho más natural.
