Diálogo realista
Customer: Hello. I have a quick question before we get started.
Representative: No problem. Let’s start with the most important point.
Customer: Is there a reference number?
Representative: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the complaint.
Customer: That part is clear. My question is really about the service.
Representative: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the service comes before the support.
Customer: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Representative: Yes, that’s right. Once the confirmation is confirmed, there shouldn’t be any other action for you today.
Customer: I’m here because I need help with contratar un servicio.
Representative: It depends on the document. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Customer: Got it. I also have the request with me in case you need it.
Representative: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Customer: Could you check the status for me?
Representative: No problem. I’ll explain the reference number in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Customer: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Representative: Right. In a real conversation, catching the technician and the next action is usually enough.
Customer: Is there an outage in my area?
Representative: For a follow-up, keep the contract somewhere easy to find.
Customer: Before I go, can I confirm the connection as well?
Representative: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Customer: Perfect. That answers my questions. Thanks for explaining it so clearly.
Representative: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the complaint.
✓ Could you tell me about the complaint, please?
