Diálogo realista
Customer: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Representative: Certainly. What information do you already have?
Customer: Thank you for looking into it.
Representative: Thanks. I’ll check the address first and then we can deal with the rest.
Customer: Okay. Could you explain how the fee works here?
Representative: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the fee comes before the repair.
Customer: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Representative: Correct. The support is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Customer: Is there an outage in my area?
Representative: The only thing to watch is the outage, because that can affect the timing.
Customer: Got it. I also have the counter with me in case you need it.
Representative: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
Customer: Could you confirm that in writing?
Representative: No problem. I’ll explain the reference number in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Customer: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Representative: Right. In a real conversation, catching the contract and the next action is usually enough.
Customer: What information do you need from me?
Representative: If you need to follow up, refer to the technician so the next person can see the history.
Customer: Before I go, can I confirm the account as well?
Representative: Yes, the account is unchanged. You’re all set.
Customer: Great, I know what I need to do now. Thanks for your help.
Representative: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the address.
✓ Could you tell me about the address, please?
