Diálogo realista
Customer: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Representative: Absolutely. Give me the key details and I’ll see what we can do.
Customer: Could you confirm that in writing?
Representative: Thanks. I’ll check the complaint first and then we can deal with the rest.
Customer: Okay. Could you explain how the document works here?
Representative: Yes. We normally confirm the document and then update the address.
Customer: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Representative: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the confirmation and you’ll receive confirmation.
Customer: How much is the deposit?
Representative: That’s a good question. If the contract changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Customer: Okay. I brought the deposit too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Representative: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Customer: Thank you for looking into it.
Representative: Sure. The fee is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Customer: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Representative: Right. In a real conversation, catching the service and the next action is usually enough.
Customer: I’d like to report a problem.
Representative: If you need to follow up, refer to the utility so the next person can see the history.
Customer: One last check: there’s no change to the property, right?
Representative: Yes, the property is unchanged. You’re all set.
Customer: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Representative: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you explain it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the complaint.
✓ Could you tell me about the complaint, please?
