Diálogo realista
Customer: Hi. I’m not completely sure what the next step is, so I wanted to check with you.
Representative: No problem. Let’s start with the most important point.
Customer: Could you check the status for me?
Representative: Thanks. I’ll check the reference number first and then we can deal with the rest.
Customer: I have that. I’m less certain about the document.
Representative: Yes. We normally confirm the document and then update the request.
Customer: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Representative: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the fringe and you’ll receive confirmation.
Customer: What information do you need from me?
Representative: That’s a good question. If the photo changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Customer: Okay. I brought the address too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Representative: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Customer: I’d like to report a problem.
Representative: Sure. The complaint is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Customer: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Representative: That’s a good approach. Listen for the account, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Customer: Could we go over the details for ir a la peluquería?
Representative: If anything changes, contact us and mention the trim. That will help us find your details quickly.
Customer: One last check: there’s no change to the confirmation, right?
Representative: That’s correct. The confirmation stays exactly as discussed.
Customer: Great, I know what I need to do now. Thanks for your help.
Representative: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the reference number.
✓ Could you tell me about the reference number, please?
