Diálogo realista
Customer: Hi, I was hoping you could help me with something.
Representative: No problem. Let’s start with the most important point.
Customer: I’m here because I need help with hacer un reclamo a atención al cliente.
Representative: Okay. The first thing we should look at is the warranty.
Customer: Okay. Could you explain how the policy works here?
Representative: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the policy comes before the address.
Customer: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Representative: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the service and you’ll receive confirmation.
Customer: Is there a reference number?
Representative: It depends on the bill. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Customer: That helps. Should I keep the confirmation available for the next step?
Representative: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Customer: Could I get a refund or replacement?
Representative: Sure. The fee is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Customer: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Representative: Right. In a real conversation, catching the reference number and the next action is usually enough.
Customer: I’d like to return this item.
Representative: If you need to follow up, refer to the purchase so the next person can see the history.
Customer: One last check: there’s no change to the document, right?
Representative: Yes, the document is unchanged. You’re all set.
Customer: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Representative: Of course. Good luck with everything.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the warranty.
✓ Could you tell me about the warranty, please?
