That sounds interesting.
We should do this again sometime.
I’m sorry, I won’t be able to make it.
What have you been up to lately?
I’m really into…
Would you like to join us?
What about you?
I see what you mean.
Could you write that down for me?
Who should I contact if I have another question?
Is there anything else I need to bring or prepare?
I’d rather check now than make a mistake later.
Would you mind saying that one more time?
Diálogo realista
Alex: Hi there. I need some help with this situation and I have the main information with me.
Jamie: Sure. What would you like to check first?
Alex: That sounds interesting.
Jamie: Right. Let’s start with the contact, because that usually determines the next step.
Alex: Okay. Could you explain how the compliment works here?
Jamie: Yes. We normally confirm the compliment and then update the message.
Alex: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Jamie: Yes, that’s right. Once the movie is confirmed, there shouldn’t be any other action for you today.
Alex: We should do this again sometime.
Jamie: It depends on the plan. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
Alex: Got it. I also have the sport with me in case you need it.
Jamie: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Alex: I’m sorry, I won’t be able to make it.
Jamie: Absolutely. Let’s go through the invitation slowly so you know exactly what it means.
Alex: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Jamie: Right. In a real conversation, catching the availability and the next action is usually enough.
Alex: What have you been up to lately?
Jamie: If anything changes, contact us and mention the opinion. That will help us find your details quickly.
Alex: One last check: there’s no change to the weekend, right?
Jamie: That’s correct. The weekend stays exactly as discussed.
Alex: Excellent. I’ll follow those steps and get back in touch if anything changes.
Jamie: No problem at all. Take care.
“Just to confirm…” y “So, if I understood correctly…” son recursos normales en inglés profesional y cotidiano.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ I need you to explain it.
✕ Tell me the contact.
✓ Could you tell me about the contact, please?
