Diálogo realista
User: Hi, I was hoping you could help me with something.
Support: Sure. What would you like to check first?
User: The issue started after…
Support: Right. Let’s start with the environment, because that usually determines the next step.
User: I have that. I’m less certain about the upload.
Support: Yes. We normally confirm the upload and then update the ticket.
User: That makes sense. Can I confirm exactly what happens next?
Support: Correct. The requirement is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
User: I’ll open a support ticket.
Support: That’s a good question. If the data changes, let us know as soon as possible.
User: Okay. I brought the device too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Support: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
User: Could we go over the details for explicar cómo funciona un software?
Support: Absolutely. Let’s go through the API slowly so you know exactly what it means.
User: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Support: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the process and any instruction that follows it.
User: The system sends the data to…
Support: If anything changes, contact us and mention the download. That will help us find your details quickly.
User: One last check: there’s no change to the workflow, right?
Support: That’s correct. The workflow stays exactly as discussed.
User: I have one final vocabulary question about the permission. What should I listen for?
Support: Sure. In this context, “permission” is the detail people usually mention when they confirm the arrangement. You don’t need a long answer; a short confirmation is enough.
User: Excellent. I’ll follow those steps and get back in touch if anything changes.
Support: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
“Just to confirm…” y “So, if I understood correctly…” son recursos normales en inglés profesional y cotidiano.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you explain it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the environment.
✓ Could you tell me about the environment, please?
Agregar could y please hace que un pedido de información suene mucho más natural.
