Diálogo realista
Traveler: Hello. I have a quick question before we get started.
Agent: Of course. Tell me what’s happening and we’ll take it from there.
Traveler: Could we go over the details for estación de tren?
Agent: Right. Let’s start with the gate, because that usually determines the next step.
Traveler: Okay. Could you explain how the arrival works here?
Agent: Yes. We normally confirm the arrival and then update the delay.
Traveler: Could I check one thing? I don’t want to misunderstand the timing.
Agent: Correct. The traffic is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Traveler: Could you show me on the map?
Agent: That’s a good question. If the fare changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Traveler: Okay. I brought the route too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Agent: That would be useful. You may not need it now, but it can save time later.
Traveler: Could you check that for me, please?
Agent: Sure. The luggage is simpler than it sounds; there are only two things to remember.
Traveler: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Agent: That’s a good approach. Listen for the address, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Traveler: Is this the right stop for…?
Agent: For a follow-up, keep the departure somewhere easy to find.
Traveler: One last check: there’s no change to the platform, right?
Agent: That’s correct. The platform stays exactly as discussed.
Traveler: Great, I know what I need to do now. Thanks for your help.
Agent: No problem at all. Take care.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ I need you to explain it.
✕ Tell me the gate.
✓ Could you tell me about the gate, please?
