Diálogo realista
Alex: Hello. I’d like to go over a few details, if that’s okay.
Jordan: Sure. What would you like to check first?
Alex: I’m here because I need help with discovery call.
Jordan: Thanks. I’ll check the agenda first and then we can deal with the rest.
Alex: That part is clear. My question is really about the action item.
Jordan: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the action item comes before the decision.
Alex: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Jordan: Correct. The proposal is the final detail we need before moving ahead.
Alex: Could you tell me more about your current situation?
Jordan: That’s a good question. If the timeline changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Alex: That helps. Should I keep the objective available for the next step?
Jordan: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Alex: From the client’s perspective…
Jordan: No problem. I’ll explain the value in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Alex: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Jordan: Right. In a real conversation, catching the revenue and the next action is usually enough.
Alex: Let me address that concern directly.
Jordan: For a follow-up, keep the objection somewhere easy to find.
Alex: One last check: there’s no change to the pricing, right?
Jordan: That’s correct. The pricing stays exactly as discussed.
Alex: That’s much clearer now. I appreciate your time.
Jordan: You’re welcome. I’m glad we could sort it out.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the agenda.
✓ Could you tell me about the agenda, please?
