Diálogo realista
Alex: Hello. I’d like to go over a few details, if that’s okay.
Jordan: Absolutely. Give me the key details and I’ll see what we can do.
Alex: Could we go over the details for hablar con clientes?
Jordan: Right. Let’s start with the pricing, because that usually determines the next step.
Alex: That part is clear. My question is really about the client.
Jordan: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the client comes before the agenda.
Alex: So, just to confirm, that means there is one more step after this, right?
Jordan: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the solution and you’ll receive confirmation.
Alex: Let me address that concern directly.
Jordan: That’s a good question. If the presentation changes, let us know as soon as possible.
Alex: Got it. I also have the forecast with me in case you need it.
Jordan: Yes. It’s better to have it ready, especially if we need to verify a detail.
Alex: Would this option work better for you?
Jordan: No problem. I’ll explain the metric in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Alex: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Jordan: That’s a good approach. Listen for the objective, the time or number, and the action you need to take.
Alex: I’ll follow up by email.
Jordan: If you need to follow up, refer to the timeline so the next person can see the history.
Alex: Okay, I’ll do that. And the scope stays the same, correct?
Jordan: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Alex: Thanks. I’ve written down the main points, so I should be all set.
Jordan: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ I’d like you to check it.
✕ Tell me the pricing.
✓ Could you tell me about the pricing, please?
