Diálogo realista
Customer: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Assistant: No problem. Let’s start with the most important point.
Customer: I’d like to return this.
Assistant: Right. Let’s start with the refund, because that usually determines the next step.
Customer: That part is clear. My question is really about the price.
Assistant: Of course. The easiest way to think about it is that the price comes before the stock.
Customer: I want to make sure I’ve got the details right before I continue.
Assistant: Yes, that’s right. Once the exchange is confirmed, there shouldn’t be any other action for you today.
Customer: Is there another option?
Assistant: The only thing to watch is the receipt, because that can affect the timing.
Customer: Okay. I brought the fit too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Assistant: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
Customer: I’m here because I need help with pagar en efectivo o tarjeta.
Assistant: Absolutely. Let’s go through the tax slowly so you know exactly what it means.
Customer: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Assistant: Right. In a real conversation, catching the order and the next action is usually enough.
Customer: Do I need the receipt?
Assistant: If anything changes, contact us and mention the card. That will help us find your details quickly.
Customer: One last check: there’s no change to the total, right?
Assistant: Yes. Nothing else changes there.
Customer: Great, I know what I need to do now. Thanks for your help.
Assistant: Of course. Good luck with everything.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you confirm it.
✓ I need you to explain it.
✕ Tell me the refund.
✓ Could you tell me about the refund, please?
