The key figure here is…
Is there anything else I need to bring or prepare?
Who should I contact if I have another question?
I’d rather check now than make a mistake later.

Diálogo realista
Alex: Hi, I was hoping you could help me with something.
Jordan: Sure. What would you like to check first?
Alex: Let me address that concern.
Jordan: Thanks. I’ll check the quarter first and then we can deal with the rest.
Alex: That part is clear. My question is really about the client.
Jordan: Yes. We normally confirm the client and then update the pricing.
Alex: Could I check one thing? I don’t want to misunderstand the timing.
Jordan: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the negotiation and you’ll receive confirmation.
Alex: Could we agree on the next step?
Jordan: The only thing to watch is the chart, because that can affect the timing.
Alex: Okay. I brought the revenue too, because I wasn’t sure whether it was required.
Jordan: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
Alex: This figure increased compared with last quarter.
Jordan: No problem. I’ll explain the presentation in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
Alex: Thanks. The vocabulary is actually easier when I can connect it to the situation.
Jordan: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the performance and any instruction that follows it.
Alex: From the client’s perspective…
Jordan: For a follow-up, keep the trend somewhere easy to find.
Alex: Okay, I’ll do that. And the conversion stays the same, correct?
Jordan: That’s correct. The conversion stays exactly as discussed.
Alex: Could you also show me where the objection appears? I want to recognise it next time.
Jordan: Sure. In this context, “objection” is the detail people usually mention when they confirm the arrangement. You don’t need a long answer; a short confirmation is enough.
Alex: That’s much clearer now. I appreciate your time.
Jordan: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I need that you explain it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
Evitá copiar estructuras del español. En inglés cambian tanto la construcción como el registro de cortesía.
✕ Tell me the quarter.
✓ Could you tell me about the quarter, please?
Agregar could y please hace que un pedido de información suene mucho más natural.
