Diálogo realista
User: Good morning. I’m here to sort out something and I want to make sure I explain it clearly.
Support: Of course. Tell me what’s happening and we’ll take it from there.
User: The connection is breaking up a little.
Support: Thanks. I’ll check the camera first and then we can deal with the rest.
User: I have that. I’m less certain about the error.
Support: Sure. In this case, the error depends on the password.
User: Could I check one thing? I don’t want to misunderstand the timing.
Support: Exactly. After that, we’ll record the ticket and you’ll receive confirmation.
User: Could you grant me access?
Support: It depends on the screen. If that stays the same, the process is straightforward.
User: That helps. Should I keep the upload available for the next step?
Support: Yes, keep it handy. Someone may ask you to confirm it later.
User: Your microphone seems to be muted.
Support: No problem. I’ll explain the mute in plain terms and then you can tell me if anything is unclear.
User: That’s helpful. I understand the general idea; I just want to avoid missing one important detail.
Support: Exactly. You don’t need every word. Focus on the permission and any instruction that follows it.
User: The issue started after…
Support: If anything changes, contact us and mention the speaker. That will help us find your details quickly.
User: Before I go, can I confirm the software as well?
Support: Yes, the software is unchanged. You’re all set.
User: I have one final vocabulary question about the device. What should I listen for?
Support: Sure. In this context, “device” is the detail people usually mention when they confirm the arrangement. You don’t need a long answer; a short confirmation is enough.
User: Perfect. That answers my questions. Thanks for explaining it so clearly.
Support: You’re welcome. Have a good day.
“Just to confirm…” y “So, if I understood correctly…” son recursos normales en inglés profesional y cotidiano.
✕ I have a doubt about this.
✓ I have a question about this.
“I have a question” es la opción natural para introducir una consulta concreta.
✕ Can you repeat me that?
✓ Could you repeat that, please?
Con repeat, lo natural es usar directamente el objeto: “repeat that” o “say that again”.
✕ I want that you check it.
✓ Could you confirm it for me?
✕ Tell me the camera.
✓ Could you tell me about the camera, please?
